The story of Graniti Fiandre dates back to 1961, when the company was founded in Reggio Emilia (Italy). The company was named after the country-estate, where it was originally located. Originally, Graniti Fiandre was a small undertaking, which could hardly impact the Italian ceramic industry. It was in 1971 that considerable investments drove rampant expansion and upgrading of the company production facilities. Continuous investments became a powerful impulse to further evolution of Graniti Fiandre that resulted in the appearance of another Italian tile manufacturer among the world industry leaders. It should be noted that few ceramic and porcelain tile manufacturers dare to produce large-format tiles. However, large slabs dominate in the Graniti Fiandre portfolio. The largest tiles ever produced (300×150 cm, area of 4.5 sqm) are catered to the market by Graniti Fiandre. Of course, such items are primarily intended for spacious commercial and industrial areas.
