The Italian tile manufacturer Laminam was established in 2001 in Fiorano Modenese. Remarkably, Laminam was the first brand to launch the production of large-format 100×300 cm tiles. There are two variations of thickness available: 3.5 and 5.6 mm. This innovative material was conceived by the Italian engineer Franco Stefani. Slim full body porcelain stoneware by Laminam is a technically advanced material, primarily intended for facing and flooring in the heavy traffic areas, as well as for ventilated façade cladding. In 2016, the company production potential of Laminam was enhanced by the new facility in Borgotaro (Parma) specialized in the manufacturing of 162×324 cm porcelain tiles. These extra large slabs are 12 mm thick. The entire product range of Laminam is hallmarked by the elaborate design. The tiles imitate the surface of metal, natural stone and concrete. It should be noted that porcelain tiles by Laminam are intended for the wide range of applications: from private interiors to vanguard architectural projects.
