1984: The Birth In 1984 the Ceramiche Mariner brand was born, founded by Catti Arnaldo and his wife Porta Luisa, with the intention of getting closer and closer to the needs of its customers both in Italy and abroad, distinguishing itself above all for the service and quality offered. 1997: the first enlargement In 1997, the company, made up of about twenty people, began a process of increasing staff and turnover, leading to the creation of new offices and warehouses with the aim of providing greater assistance to customers and meeting their every need. 2001: first plant in Bicottura In 2001 the first double-fired coating plant was inaugurated in Casalgrande, with an annual production of about 1,200,000 square metres and an average first choice yield of 98%. 7th January 2019 The sudden growth in turnover has led the Catti family to have to make an important decision in order to continue with what are their main objectives: quality and service. In 2016 55,000 sq.m. of area were purchased where in just 14 months 30000 sq.m. of sheds were demolished and built and ceramic plants installed for an investment of € 55,000,000. The area was completely reclaimed and the structures were built respecting all the seismic constraints in order to guarantee maximum safety to the employees. 7th January 2019 In January 2019, the plant is started up by creating 90 jobs and in just 3 months of production the first choice yields are around 95.5%, with an annual production capacity of 5,400,000 square meters. And with the new PRIME software we can control at any time and from anywhere in the world, every single production process, keeping a detailed control of costs and intervene quickly on the quality of the product.
