It was 1954 when Elmo and Dante Rossi started an artisan activity in the production of marble chips in a factory in via Savio in Cesena. Given the success that rewarded their work, in the sixties they decided to build a new factory in via Savio in San Michele. It was in those lively sixties that in the main plant, they decided to develop a commercial activity of building materials in general and in particular of ceramic flooring. At the beginning of the new decade, the commercial activity became so important that it completely supplanted the production activity. In 1977, the commercial company transferred its activities to the current site in via Zuccherificio. The creation of the internal showroom allowed the expansion of the business to the bathroom furniture sector. In 1987 a strategic choice was made. The Rossi brothers decided to abandon the marketing of raw materials in favor of finishing materials (floor coverings and bathroom furnishings), in a logic of specialization. After 46 years of highly honored activity, the Rossi brothers decide to retire. The activity and long experience actually pass into the hands of the sons Maurizio, Massimo and Alessandro and Daniele Ronchi (their partner). Rossi Abitare continues the tradition of offering quality at the lowest possible cost in politely respected environments. This made the founders' commercial history unparalleled.
